At Dell South Africa, we are dedicated to providing a smooth and reliable shopping experience, ensuring prompt and secure delivery across South Africa. This page provides all the details you need to understand our shipping process and estimated delivery times.

Standard Delivery

We offer nationwide delivery with the following estimated timeframes:

How Our Delivery Process Works

Our shipping process is designed for transparency and efficiency. Here’s how it works:

Order Processing:

  • Once an order is placed, our team begins the picking and packing process immediately.

  • If the item is in stock and payment has cleared, the order is prepared for courier collection in line with the delivery times above.

  • For the fastest processing, we recommend paying via credit card or using an EFT to a Dell Online-supported bank.

Shipping Confirmation & Order Tracking:

  • At checkout, you will receive an Estimated Delivery Date based on your order details and delivery destination.

  • After completing your payment, you will receive an Order Confirmation email with a unique reference number.

  • Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a Shipment Confirmation email with an invoice number, indicating that your package is with our courier.

  • You can track your order using the invoice number, shipment number, or order number through our tracking system here.

  • Delivery status updates will be sent via email or SMS.

Delivery to Your Door:

We partner with leading courier services, including The Courier Guy, DPD, and RTT, to ensure your order reaches you securely and on time. Deliveries take place Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Once out for delivery, you will receive a notification with an expected delivery window.

Important Notes:

In-Stock Items:

  • The delivery timeframes listed apply to products marked as "In Stock" at the time of ordering.

  • If an item is out of stock, additional processing time may be required, and we will notify you accordingly.

Delivery Delays:

While we aim to meet all delivery estimates, unforeseen circumstances such as adverse weather, courier delays, or strike action may impact delivery times. In such cases, we will update you as soon as possible.

Remote or Rural Areas:

For deliveries to outlying or rural regions, please allow additional time, as some areas do not have daily courier services.

No PO Box Addresses:

We only deliver to physical addresses within South Africa. PO Box addresses are not supported. 

International Shipping Policy:

Currently, we only ship within South Africa. Certain digital products, such as software licenses, may be available for international purchase and delivery.

Returns & Refund Policy:

Note: only orders placed here from Dell directly are eligible for return or cancellation.

Shipping Rates:

  • Orders under R1500 incur a flat-rate delivery fee of R69 (incl. VAT).

  • Free Shipping across South Africa for all orders over R1500: .
